ValleyCAST, the arts and culture arm of Open Sky Community Services, will collect handmade donated blankets up to and during the week of October 20, 2025. The blankets will be displayed in the Heritage Gallery during November & December. There will be a wine and cheese opening reception to view the blankets on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:00-7:30 pm. Blankets will then be gifted at the end of December to the Worcester Refugee Assistance Project (WRAP).

Saturday, November 15 Canines for Disabled Kids invites you to rappel from the roof of 120 Front Street, Worcester, MA in their 5th Annual Over the Edge for CDK event.
This event allows participants to rappel off the roof of the Mercantile Building while raising awareness & funds to support service dogs & the independence they bring to kids (& adults) with disabilities. Canines for Disabled Kids (CDK) is a non-profit located in Worcester that provides educational programs on service dogs in schools, assists individuals considering the use of service dogs, and provides scholarships to help children and teens cover some of the training costs of a service dog. Saturday, November 15 The Massachusetts Dental Society will be hosting a Mission of Mercy No-Cost Dental Clinic for Adults 
 at the DCU Center, 50 Foster St, Worcester. Doors open at 6:30 AM. No Pre-Registration, No insurance and no Identification Required. Simply show up to receive dental care at no cost. Sunday, November 16 The Girls on the Run end-of-season 5K Celebration is at Polar Park in Worcester, MA. This non-competitive, family-friendly 5K serves as the culminating end-of-season event for local Girls on the Run participants and as a community gathering focused on fun, connection, and empowerment. Registration for the 5K on November 16 is open to the public and all proceeds from the event benefit Girls on the Run of Worcester County. Registrants can pick up their packets on race day at Polar Park. Doors open at 8:45 am and the 5K will begin at 10:30 am and early arrival is suggested. Saturday, December 13 Toad Construction is holding a Pictures with Santa Event from 9am-noon at Pinecroft Dairy (539 Prospect St, West Boylston, MA 01583). Event will be FREE to the public, and Pictures will be FREE on a first come first serve basis.
