Saturday, September 20 Join Jen Carter at the UMass Memorial Health Teddy Bear Clinic! Kids, bring your teddy bears and favorite adults, and join UMass Memorial Health for this free community event, where anyone and everyone can learn about health & safety through fun & interactive booths! Presented by UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center in partnership with Fundación MAPFRE.
Sunday, September 28 The 2025 UMass Cancer Walk will be held at Polar Park. This event is rain or shine. Register or donate today. The money raised supports cancer research and care, and clinical trials of new potentially lifesaving therapies taking place right here in Central Massachusetts at UMass Chan Medical School. Once again this year, we will be honoring patients, family members, healthcare providers, researchers, sponsors and volunteers—and you—with our superhero theme. By raising money and taking part in the walk, you have the “power” to save the lives of cancer patients. Superheroes may make appearances and participants are encouraged to dress up as superheroes!
