Movies on the Common are back in Worcester with three dates from June through August 2026. Each event takes place on the Worcester Common Oval with fun, family-friendly pre-movie entertainment starting at 6 pm and a FREE outdoor movie starting at 7 pm. Expect local food, themed giveaways, and community vibes, all in a welcoming, accessible setting. Elevating the movie night experience, this year’s production again includes a state-of-the-artLED screen! With vibrant, crystal-clear visuals and high-definition resolution, this screen delivers an incredible viewing experience and will also feature an interactive, pre-movie dance game.

The Out to Lunch series is back and bigger than ever this year, with 10 festival dates every Wednesday from June 24 through August 26. Each event takes place from 11 am to 3 pm on the Worcester Common Oval. It’s the perfect excuse to get out for your lunch break, spend time enjoying the historic Worcester Common, and explore the best of Worcester right here in the heart of the city this summer. Mark your calendars for the following 2026 Out to Lunch Festival & Farmers’ Market dates: June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5, August 12, August 19 & August 26. Friday, June 26 Career and Leadership Conference is a full-day, in-person professional and personal development conference taking place from 8:30 AM–6:30 PM at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).

The conference is designed for young adults ages 18–35 who are looking to develop leadership skills, gain career clarity, build meaningful connections, and take actionable steps toward their future.

Wednesday, July 15 The City of Boston Disabilities Commission honors the anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act with a community celebration called ADA Day, a free event that is open to all! This year, the event will take place at the newly renovated Copley Square Park from noon-2pm. Activities include a disability resource fair, music, food, and fun.
